Blog Post: Would You Be a Good Coach?
posted Sunday, September 6, 2009 8:33 AM
Have you wondered what all of the buzz is about regarding Coaches and Coaching?
Is this an emerging profession or has it been around a while? What qualifications does a coach have to have? Can you actually Coach Clients and make a living doing it? These are some great questions and you can find out the answers and more this Thursday, Sept. 10th at our kickoff meeting for the New Coaches Collaborative (NCC) series. This is the 5th NCC offered by ICF Phoenix chapter in as many years. This year’s series is shaping up to be the best one yet. The meetings will be held monthly immediately following the regular ICF meeting, scheduled from 5:30 to 6:30 pm. The cost for this series is just $50, payable no later than October 8th . Participants will receive support from other professional coaches. There is a structured curriculum that focuses on the ICF Core Competencies. Some of our programs will be focused on marketing and business development as well as your personal and professional development. Of course we will hold each other accountable and will have goals and action planning, too. Check out the ICF webpage at: http://www.icfphoenix.com/pages/viewevent.php?yy=2009&mm=09&dd=10 If you want to receive even more benefit of ICF membership, come early and network, then stay for the regular meeting. This meeting will knock your socks off and you will take away a new perspective of coaching and what possibility thinking can do to change our lives. See you there!
